Where is your food coming from?

So many factors come into play in order to eat healthy, and unfortunately making it that much harder to do so.  But due to the critical nature of eating a healthy balanced diet, it is so important to educate yourself so you can make the best choices possible for you and your family.  For instance why should you choose organic food? Or what is the Non-GMO label and its importance?  Also did you know that many farmers vaccinate their animals, including with mRNA vaccines (the same type as the COVID vaccine). And feed their animals GMO crops/grain.  So what does this mean for the food they produce, is it safe? Is is healthy?  And how about the COOL of the meat, Country of Origin Label.  Other countries guidelines may be different than ours, and we should again try to support local as much as possible anyway.

Supporting regenerative farms and local organic farms is important for our future.  Also being capable of growing your own food at home, even if it's just starting out small.  Turning our yards to gardens, or even partially overgrown sections; this allows insects, bees, birds, etc. to thrive.  We can all make at least a couple changes in our shopping list, or our way of life to help not only become healthier but to help improve our communities and our world!

Do some research on your local farm down the road, you can generally find someone who is working hard to have better quality, healthier food available.  Often your local Amish are great resources as well.  You can also have grass fed, organic meat and other foods delivered by distributer's right to your door.  For example Wild Pastures is a great source that sell only organic regenerative farmed foods; you can find them at wildpastures.com.  Another great source is The Beef Initiative at beefinitiative.com.  Many farms will also have crop share programs, always a good idea vs. the grocery store.

Changing your mindset can drastically help change your diet as well.  Knowing you are an investment, spending money on your food is spending money on your health.
